The Houston SPCA rescues animals from abuse and neglect and helps them find forever homes. I had the opportunity to help them redesign their site with the goal of making it easier for visitors to easily browse animals that are ready for adoption and amplify donation moments that keep this critical non-profit operational.
Site Development
When I started this project, optimizing moments for donation was a primary goal. Developing a mini form that made quick donation options available without leaving the page helped increase opportunities for users to give. The introduction of animal spotlights also helped surface available animals and reordering the navigation based on traffic analysis helped users easily find what they were looking for.
